Re: Royal Lake Front Layout
Hi, Royal Lake View has evolved quite a lot from it's intial days. It used to be a secluded and less populated layout until the time the approach road condition (from B.G. Road etc.) was bad. But over the last few years, this layout has really come of age. You can see a thriving community there with...

Re: Looking out for a land loan
That's right. It's best to take a plain land loan than a composite loan if you are not sure of the time period within which you shall construct your house. When it's time to build your house and you go for another home loan for the same (if at all "-)), then the new home loan and the existing land l...

Re: Kitchen Dimension
Thanks tvsh. Very valuable inputs. With the new design, we'll now have about 6' between opposite counters, which I believe is a decent space for a couple of people to work together comfortably in the kitchen. On a different note, what is a comfortable size for utility area behind the kitchen - assum...

Re: Kitchen Dimension
Thanks a lot, Aparna. Your input has helped.
We were apprehensive about the kitchen size and had a talk with our architect. He has redesigned the space and now we have around 16' 6" as counter length. Of course, it means a smaller utility area, but we're happy with the change.

Kitchen Dimension
Hi, I need some advise regarding decent/workable kitchen dimension for a family of 4 in a house on 30x40 site. As per the initial plan drafted by my architect, the kitchen dimension comes as 8' 6" x 8' 6" with a utility area of 4' 0" x 10" 6" at the back. If I choose to extend the kitchen as 8' 6" x...

Re: Need suggestion about ITI Layout , Near HSR layout
Hi m_d1982,
How come your neighbour, whose construction is 75% complete now, was able to get his plan approved then? Does his site fall in the lot where A Khatha was available?

Re: Development / Rates in Anjanapura BDA BAD layout
Completely agree with Karthink and Sunitha. Karthink has summarized it quite well. Its a shame that farmers are made to part with their yielding lands to form barren layouts and then the so called 'investment savvy people' pile up documents for site after site in their bank lockers. Organizations li...

Re: Lawyer Fees
Hi,
This is not 'fee', but plain and simple daylight robbery. I guess you should ask him to buzz off and look for another prey. In my opinion, anything above 20-30K is water above the bridge.
Regards.

Re: Loan for land purchase.
Hi, LIC and Corporation Bank also fund land purchase, but throw up a lot of conditions like it needs to be a BDA site, you should be the direct allotee etc. (at least this is what I got from Corporation Bank). And the best part is, the officials behave as if they are doing a personal favour to you b...

Re: Development / Review of Anjanapura BDA layout
Pardon my ignorance, but which is this 80 ft road in Anjanapura that a lot of forum members are referring to? Is this the wide road where 'Recoup' medical center is located? Are there plans to connect this road to Bannerghatta main road?
Regards.
