I could not attend the meeting last time as I was away but I also heard the same. In my opinion it is worth holding on for a while to see if something positive happens (but my opinion may be biased :) ). Phase 1 at least is seeing lot of activity off late. Some of us are constructing in phase 2 also...

I think u are looking for 1HP pumps? I got Sharp submersible for 8.7k and non-submersible ones were approx 2500-3000 lesser than submersible. Not sure about Suguna though I had just enquired about Texmo and Sharp only.

I enquired recently from the guy who installed the borewell pump and as per him Sharp was approx 8.7k and Texmo approx 10k - dont remember the exact price. Planning to check again in the next few days when I actually need it.
