Re: chemical/ Acid used for wire cut brick cleaning and procedur

Very informative thread. The finish planned on 3 visible sides of mu under construction home is also exposed bricks. Columns and slabs will be exposed concrete. Internal walls and walls at the back will be of solid blocks As the exposed brickwalls are not load bearing Seeing the spilling problems br...

Re: RCC sump tank seepage

Thanks will try pidifine 2K
Should it be applied only on leaky area or whole inner surface should be given 2 coats ?

Pidilite (Dr.fixit) has too many similar sounding products on website with overlapping roles.
I saw another one which is kind of PU coating to be applied by brush or roller.

Re: A khata for Layout but not for Individual sites

If it is not A khata it is not A khata period. What will happen tommorow is anyone's guess however you should fix the price as per B khata. When it comes to private land development there are some 14 approvals required . So if you observe there will be some well entranced person who usually purchase...

Re: Regarding AAC blocks

Realised that someone bumped old thread  AAC is not new at all in bangalore its extensively used in multi story construction due to less weight and construction is much faster. Thermal properties and also strength is better then red bricks. If you have to compare compressive strengths then...

Re: turnkey or labour contract better?

If you want to cut cost and build fast go for GFRG construction. The only condition is house design should be simple 4 side wall in room kind as walls in GFRG are load bearing. You can cut costs by around 25% for same finish over block construction. I have seen 3/4 GFRG homes and I studied lots of t...

Re: Ongoing price of material contract

Hello, There are two ways to give material contract one is per sq feet of built up area and another is using BOQ ( Bills of Quantity ) method. (1) Per Sq feet approx 1800 to 2000 of complete construction Per sq feet method works from flat in a multistory as quality is largely fixed but is not very g...

Re: PVC wardrobes and kitchen cabinates

When you say PVC does it mean PVC laminate over ply or the PVC sheet/board ?
I saw PVC laminate where 90 degree bend is possible and gives good finish however Carpenter needs to be familiar working with the material.
