Re: Frustrated for Bribe to be paid for Khata Transfer
Praveen, you need to request the same BBMP office to update the Property Tax Details. With your khata extract and some other details, you need to sit with the Computer Operator and update. Its just a matter of few seconds but they take ages.

Re: BBMP Khata Transfer - SAKALA
Praveen, appreciate your patience and your work done without bribe but with more time. This is the problem.
The value of your time, phone call, frustration, number of days delayed is equal to the bribe. If you bribe 5K, it would have been done without any hassle.

Re: Sale agreement and registering a property in bangalore
Congratulations!!! Sale Agreement & Absolute Sale Deed all can be done yourself and since, it can be in English, you can go ahead with your points after having discussion with your lawyer (what should be included and what not). Further, about registering the papers - this is where language plays a m...

Re: BBMP Khata Transfer - SAKALA
Hi Praveen, while applying for khata transfer did not they tell if all the documents are given. SAKALA clearly says what documents are needed and mother deed is very much needed for that. I am not sure if you are referring to the same (when you say prior sale deed). Unfortunate that, they did not he...

Re: BBMP Khata Transfer - SAKALA
Hi Sunil, I think Khata can be transferred if it is A khata or having a BDA khata. I assume the site you have bought is still to be moved to A (after paying the betterment charges) and hence, they are not ok to transfer. In general, only after paying the betterment charges, its the responsibility of...

Re: procedure of requesting street light connection.
If you stay in BDA/Approved layout, I assume there would be a welfare association formed and you can approach your area corporation through association. Else, BBMP election is nearing and hence, if you go in person and meet corporator and tell about this problem, he will certainly solve atleast for ...

I am sure you are the member of BSK 6th Stage RWA and I think best is to check in association forum and take it forward if needed.
If you are not a member of the RWA, then there is a facebook page and you can try there - https://www.facebook.com/groups/bsk6stage/

Re: Khaitan Layout/ Rajeshwari Enclave in Turahalli
I am kind of a frequent visitor to Turahalli/Gubbalala but never heard of this layout. I know "Veeranjaneya Layout" which is next to Chartered Beverly.
Is this "Khaitan" a BDA Approved layout and what rate they are quoting now. And how many sites do they have.

Re: how safe is buying property from muslim owner?
Also, the clauses in the agreement regarding the successors etc need to be clearer.
As everyone said, good lawyer would definitely help with agreement draft. Since, Hindu Law & Muslim Law differs a bit, only transfer of property could be seen as an issue (future time period).

Re: Pre Launch Apartment
Thanks a lot Chida_gs. I completely agree with you and thinking/discussion started on this now. I currently put up near to Kanakapura Road and nearby places I am looking at since my kid is going to school there (don't want to change the school). But your inputs are really helpful.
