Re: Trnsfer buyers name onto tax paid recepits

yes, and the next time when you go and pay the taxes, it will be on your name. You need to carry a copy of sale deed, khatha transfer document and previous 4 years tax paid receipts (at least that's what I was asked for). The one good thing is that I didn't had to grease the palm of anyone.

Re: Where do i get ooz pipe?

You can get if from any nearby hardware shop. I don't know how much I bought it for, can check and let you know in a day.

By the way, when you say that you fixed a temporary motor, do u mean that you bought a used one, just for curing purposes ??

Re: Construction material prices

My 2 cents.

Indus although comes at 52 K per tonne, each Indus rod weighs more than a Tata Tiscon rod. So, if you have bought 50 12mm rods of Indus and Tiscon, the price would be almost the same even though Tata says 58.5K and Indus states 52 K.

My practical experience.

Re: Construction material prices

I believe it is pretty good. My Er suggested it and I'm using it for my construction. Lot others opt for Zuari too. I believe Coramandel/Zuari/Ramco/JK/ACC all are good. These brands are in the same price range and Birla/Ultratech are the only brands that are priced higher than these (10-15 Rs more)...

Re: borewell pump

Jai, I don't have the quote readily with me but can get if for you in a day or two. By the way there are lot of fluctuations in the market and the price along with the VAT structure does go up often. I erected my borewell 6 months back. I went for VGuard cable the only reason being the markets are f...

Re: Looking for BDA Site in White field

Are your looking for BDA sites or BDA/BBMP approved sites. I don't think there are any BDA layouts as such in these areas. I can think of the following BBMP approved layouts in whitefield - Pai layout/Prashant/Maitri/D'silva/Couple of prestige layouts (glenmorgan/whistling palms)/prithvi layout/some...

Re: Electrical conduit pipes

Guys - Checked with the manufacturer (national) and got to know that they do have a office in Chickpet. They offer 15% discount and will offer more if your are ordering in bulk. I got the lead for a couple of dealers from their chickpet office and while enquiring at these shops, got to know that 1''...

Re: Electrical conduit pipes

As Mahesh & Jolly has said there seems to be a lot of duplicates in the market. I checked around 3 shops and all of them quoted around 26-28 rs for 3/4 inch pipe. They say it is vip gold and not national and i do see the name 'vip' being imprinted on the pipe. when i hear from the members that they ...

Electrical conduit pipes

Hi,

Is the electrical conduit PVC pipes market, brand-driven. I don't see a big brand presence as like the CPVC/PVC pipes in the plumbing domain. My electrician suggested 'National VIP'. Wanted a feedback from the group on how good it is & or there any better options.

Thanks
