Did anybody receive tax challan for FY18?

I too received challan (just single copy) last week with zero tax claim. I checked last year challan and found that they had charged twice the amount and hence they have adjusted extra amount charged last year against current year tax.

Check your challans too for similarities like mine.

Received tax challan couple of days back. The tax is 4 times what was paid last year!

At lease I have not received tax challan as yet.

Hi Sandeep,

I pay tax in Canara Bank, Koramangala. While paying tax, in addition to the set of BDA challans, you need to fill up Canara Bank pay slip as well. Please be aware not all Canara Bank branches accept BDA tax.
