Now-a-days in Bangalore its hard to find fabricators who charge in Kg's. pruthvi98- Per sqft depends on the design and material you opt. I agree that is an dis-advantage - though remote ( in Tube system)
But I guess advantage are more - cost/require less sunshine to heat, compact,lesser heat loss.

Any one have recommendation for a solar water heater - I prefer Tube system - on my friend's recommended .
Tata BP Solar ,Solarizer ,Racold,Nuetech and Anu Solar are in my list.

I have just installed Panasonic vision switches , its not time tested.( its smooth compared to Voila)

Price difference is huge I guess (around 40% plus )
example : Panasonic 5 amps switch = 67 rs
