Re: House Construction - Experience

I think 1800 is very accurate as per your plan and materials used, In my experience interiors using ply and false ceilings are just the fancy things which are not durable for long run whatever quality you use, its for the showoffs. Now after construction of my new house i feel interiors are not wort...

Re: want to know abour the sq. feet charges fixed by the contractors

Pls Members - i am not suggesting any one to go with -www.buildness.com or any other contractors Its only for comparison of materials across the construction price. @vasu- As per my experience of construction- Try to build your own house with proper planing in every step - If its is G+2 or Less, you...

Re: Dreamz Infra, TGS & Gruh Kalyan proved Fraud

Thats true, People must not trust sold media advertisements and strictly go by legal way at first step for any project.

That could have saved their hard earned money!!

Re: want to know abour the sq. feet charges fixed by the contractors

Go to http://www.buildness.com, there you can verify per feet changes based on the materials used. 1600-1950 based on the materials used. Useful for knowledge purpose. Note: The amount shown might have a margin of minimum 100 Rs per/sq feet. Another calculation for basic Quote could be: If you const...

Re: Electric pole issue near the site

Á new electric Pole itself costs less than 10K, then why you need to pay more than 10k for shifting the Pole!!

It can be be done easily by checking the procedure to shift the pole from BESCOM office and raising the request which is time consuming, else pay and get it done.

Re: Granite or vitrified

No Seconds thoughts for me, Only granite with dark colors which is less water absorbent. 1) If you are planing to rent or not to change flooring after 10+ years clearly go with granite, one time investment and VFM 2) Better looks Just go for good vitrified tiles with good brands. Granite will cost m...

Re: Plan To Start Construction

As per your plan you can save 10-15% if you can go for labor contract. Any thing between 55-60 Lacks will be the good estimate.
You are paying at-least 10% more for this estimate.

Re: Need suggestion for kitchen sink Steel or Granite ?

I purely went with Granite monolithic, Jet Black sink of 2x2 matching with my jet black kitchen top, since i am thinking of only durability for the rented houses.
Also you can find oval shape with bigger dimensions which look good for modular kitchens.
i shall upload some photos of the same..
