Re: Bathroom partition

Hi Tvsh,
I would recommend to go for polycarbonate instead of PVC .It good looking and good life time. One problem with this is that you cannot use high concentrate detergents and acids to clean.

Re: Item Rate Contract -Dec 2010

Hi parkom, For renovation the cost will be more since you need to remove the existing flooring and put a new one. The other option is to lay tiles on marble using rock cement.you need to make machine groove lines on the existing floor and stick the new tiles with rock cement. In the second option yo...

Hi,Tamya You can paint on ply wood and its stays with no problem. But finishing with enamel on bare ply looks very ugly.Easiest way is to stick a 4mm mdf sheet and paint it with enamel. It gives you a amazing finishing.I do this in many of my interior works. regards Ar.praveen.N Ardes Architects and I...

Re: Bathroom partition

Hi, Bath room partitions are mostly preferred in plain glass(toughened). First preferred will be frame less glass with patch fittings and sealing the gaps with silicon. In this the advantage is that ,there will be no chance for soap settlements on the partition. Second option will be glass with frame...

Hi, sanction plan and actual plan variations are common in many bbmp approved flats. Floor violations is also common with daring builders, since the risk factor for that floor alone is more.In many instances bbmp has demolished the violated floor. But till now there is no instance of demolishing viol...

Hi, In general for stilt floor you can ask for half the other floor rate.Make sure when you go for labor contract what all includes in it?They quote price for only slab area. Check if slab projections, chajjas come in to this caliculation. They charge extra for compound wall, around house, sumps etc.......

Re: Duplex House

Hi satish, Building two duplex in 30x40 with out floating norms is not possible(considering decent room sizes). But then we can plan for two duplex with basement. Knowing that basement will have regular maintenance like rain water sump, pumping sewage in case the invert levels are higher. In the prese...
