For this you actually dont get any receipt but you need to deposit the DD in the canara bank and hold the challan as p...

Normally builders use this wood in the building that they want to sell as ultra luxurious wherein they can use the word teak for making an extra buck. The price of this as of June...

Re: Pro & Con of Basement

Anil Thanks for providing me deeper insights of basement problems. Even my engineer had suggested RCC retaining walls for basement and water proofing sheets to be stuck from outside, but the cost of the RCC retaining walls are very high and I had asked if Stone masonry can be used. He said yes but m...

Re: Pro & Con of Basement

Basement is not same as stilt when we go for approvals. Stilt parking is not considered in the FAR ratio, but basement does. Also for a residential site the basement permission is given for home theater or gym or such usages and not car parking :( upto 1/3rd of the area constructed in the ground flo...

Re: Pro & Con of Basement

Thanks Chida On the cons end of your reply 1. I have ensured there will be no staircase from the ground floor to basement, it will be accessible from outside only. 2. True the cost increases but does that not also gives us a greater area to dwell at a price lesser than the normal construction. I was...

Re: Hunsur Teak wood logs Available for Contruction purpose

I would like to buy for shutters as cut sizes. The requirement is around 40cft. Do you have some cut sizes already available in bangalore ? A sample piece would be a great starter. You can ping me on msananthu@gmail.com to discuss this further

Pro & Con of Basement

I purchased a 40x60 plot in ISRO layout and planned it's construction this season and the plan sanction approvals are done. Our plan is to do with a Basement floor for car park and future plans of a small company. People whom I discussed gave mixed opinions of a basement, but none gave me a proper e...
