Difference between A khata and B khata

What is the difference between A khata and B khata.

As per paper sources...

There is nothing called B "Khatha" legally.

Its just an entry of your property in BBMP register just to assign some number to the property that will enable them to accept tax from you for your property.

Which is suppose to be got by a legal fees for Rs.150 (if i am right).
