What is the process to get land survey done in agri land

Post by ramashome »

Good Evening

I own 2.42 Acre of agriculture land in Vaduganoor Village, Utangarai Taluka, Krishnagiri district, Tamilnadu.
I need to get survey done for that land and have to put survey stones in the land.
What is the process that I need to follow, for taking the survey by government surveyor?

Thanks in Advance.

I am not sure of the process in Tamilnadu. I hope it is similar to the one followed in Karnataka.

If the survey number has more than one owner listed, First thing is to make sure the bifurcation process (podi) of the survey is complete. Else one needs to apply for podi. Once the podi is done, each hissa ( part of the survey No.) will have their own individual Sketch. One needs to visit the survey office, fill out the forms, with the schedule of the property and the information about the neighbors and pay the fees.

Officially, the survey is done according to the seniority of the application. That is only the official version. Practise is altogether different.
