Effect of currency decision on real estate

Lots of talks about real estate prices crashing in the near term everywhere. What effect will it have on bangalore real estate prices where lot of buyers are in the salaried class

Prices will become reasonable in my opinion.

Speculative investors will stay out for a couple of years. Real end users will drive the market. The existing inventory to clear (which had black component) their prices have to crash, before new launches can happen. Look out for bargains and I'm sure consumer is going to be the king.

Those who were quoting 6000/- per sft are making deal to 3500/- per sft. This is happened in many cases now.
There is proposal to put some policy on property as well. Does any body has information about that?
