Bescom related question

I hired a contractor to surrender temporary connection for permanent one. Could someone please confirm the below:

1. How long is the process.
2. How do I verify if the RR number is accurate.
3. I had a customer number in temporary connection. Will the same customer name gets carried forward to permanent connection?

Reason for this query: the contractor is not responding to calls.

if its residential building,
is the wiring completed?
grounding work done?
do you have a solar water heater installed? is the GST invoice available for proof of purchase of solar heater?

once these are done, BESCOM would come for inspection
after that you will get another RR number and new meter also !
sometimes, the meter used for temp connection can be used for permanent one too..

the above steps would take 1-2 weeks usually ..
