Regarding postal request, did you mention the department name/ contact ?
Refund amount may not get processed at bank if IFSC Code or A/c number mismatch. In this case BDA will be notified. Since, these kind of rejections are too high, BDA may take time to inform.
It would be clear only if you visit BDA Office refund section. Refund may take max 20 days, as shared by some of them in this forum.
