Site next to big drainage (raja kaluve)

Hi People,


I am planning to buy a site in anjanapura but it is near to raja kaluve. When I say near, it is just one road behind but not exactly adjacent to raja kaluve. Can you guys please advise me if it is wise to invest in such a property. I don't want to buy a site and then later on struggle to sell the site.

Any advice in this regard is very helpful.

Only you can decide about your need. Some of the queries to be reviewed are

1) How far is your site from Rajakaluve (100 ft./50 ft./25 ft...etc.). if its is less than 50.ft, better to avoid as this can affect, even your borewell water quality
(In case you want to go for own Borewell).

2) are you able to hear the drainage water flow noise from your site ?

3) any kind of stinking smell from the drainage(very high during the peak summer or in rainy season) ?

4) already concrete wall is made for this Drainage ?


Based on the above points, hope you can decide yourself.

Thanks a lot for your inputs.
For your queries,

1. It is about 100ft from main drain.
2. The drain is still not operational. It is in anjanapura 6th block.
3. Same answer as above
4. yes

I spoke to agent. He told me he was previous owner of the land which was later acquired by BDA. He told there used to be a small stream which is now converted to big drain.
