BSK 6th stage 4th/4B Block - BWSSB BIO GAS plant reviews

Hello Friends,

May you please provide your thoughts on BSK 6th stage 4th/4B Block - BWSSB BIO GAS plant and it's possible impact in the residential vicinity.

Aprox. >10 Acres are reserved for BWSSB which include park and BIO GAS plant (Similar to Gobar gas) which is being constructed.
Will this have any adverse effect in the surroundings residential and property appreciation value in the future?
I guess, there will not be pollution (ground water contamination or any other) except air pollution/stinking, if not maintained well.
A part of 4th block (towards 4B block) is very close to this plant.
I appreciate your opinions at the earliest.

Hi Ram,

Even I visited that side of BSK 6th stage 4th block few days back. IIRC there were couple of sites (site no. 2400+) in the range 48-50 Lakhs.

Apart from the bio-gas plant that area seemed interesting. The bio-gas plant as such might not lead to any smell or gas leakages. No idea about ground water contamination.

Daily good amount of WET WASTE (food etc) may get transported to the plant from the Garbage Segregation Unit(in 5th block).
You can expect the surroundings to get dirty as the trucks leaving some traces on their path.

If you are okay with this minor(?) but recurring issues after paying a good 50 Lakhs, go ahead. If you are considering it as an investment option "this bio-gas plant" may hinder the appreciation of the property. Please note that it is entirely my personal opinion.
