Regarding Buffer zone calculation from SWD

Post by Naveenraj123 »

Hi All

As you are aware NGT order gives buffer zone for 3 different types of SWDs

50 metres from primary from corner not centre of SWD
35 from secondary
24 from tertiary,

My question is how is this buffer zone calculated, for example if there is a SWD and there are layouts or houses on either side of SWD, and say the SWD there is a secondary SWD, this 35 metres is it calculated on either side of SWD or as a periphery of SWD, i.e 17.5metres on either side of SWD ?

its from the edge of SWD and 35m on both side of SWD edge. no idea what they will do with this much of buffer area. its almost 120 feet and if u include on both sides it will be 120 feet + SWD width + 120 feet. its almost like river. hahahaha
let me know if u get any other info or if i am wrong.
does any of ur house or land comes in buffer zone?
