Need cost of tile laying

Plastering is almost done in my site. Going to start tile work soon. Can someone give me current market price for laying charges of granite, verified & bathroom tiles ? My contractor will supply the material , I am looking for labor charges only.

These are the rates which I have agreed upon with my layer, Not sure if this the best price though.

Granite Laying charges
Flooring: Rs 23/-SFT
Skirting: Rs 23/-RFT
Half Round: Rs 38/-Rft
Full Round: 63/- RFT
Wall Cladding: Rs 48/- SFT
V Groove: Rs 48/-RFT
Step Groove : Rs12/- RFT

Tiles Laying Charges
Flooring/Wall : Rs 17/-Sft
big ones 2x4: Rs 19/-Sft
Epoxy/Joint Filling: Rs 12/-

Thanks for sharing the info Murali, looks reasonable. Today I casually enquired a guy who was doing the work in a construction site. I quoted Rs.18/Sqft for 2x2 floor vertified tiles, and Rs.25 for granite. Negotiation may bring it down by few rupees/sqft.

Any comment from anyone who already completed the tile work ?

Please Don't negotiate the labour charges, we normally pay 20/sqft and demand for good workmanship, the difference is hardly anything. but tiling is one of the main finishing items where the maximum visibility goes, before finalizing any contractor to check their previous site/ projects done recently to ensure the quality of work.
