Hi ,

Our granite mason applied news paper on granite floor and then poured POP on that. But the POP is not stick properly and is coming off while walking.
This is happening even after 1 day after applying.

Procedure followed:
1. Cleaned the floor
2. Filled granite joints with white cement.
3. Cleaned excess white cement.
4, Applied paper( poured little water on paper to stick it to floor)
5. Mixed POP(Surya POP, 530/40kg bag) in water and poured it on newspaper floor.
6. Some places it is full dried but still not hard(i.e. when press with finger, it is still soft), other places , pop is sticking while walking on it.

Is there any reason why it is not hard?.
Applying POP and cleaning is 3Rs/Sqft. Is there any other best option in the same price

Hi, Murali
Just pop applying on paper will come of soon , you should add loose jute and new papers shredded . This will act as reinforcement to keep pop intact for longer time other wise it comes out as plates.
