I have plan to install small foot light for every alternate steps on a external stair case, has somebody installed this ? Esp, If i use 1Watt or 2Watt LED bulb, what kind of junction box to be used>
Please share your thoughts.

Hi,
For step light /foot lamps you need to use square wooden box for led lights or else you can use foot lamps available in most switches brand with inbuilt led light ( arteor series in legrand ).You can get down lighter leds like the attached image.
