No Building plan approval without betterment paid receipt!

Hi guys,

BBMP has stopped issuing building plans starting July 2014 without betterment charges paid receipt even if you have "A" Khata!
I was to start the construction and this has come as a huge blow for my dreams of constructing a home as i was already having "A" Khata and when approached the Engineers Section of BBMP, i came to know about this.
Now have to wait till they resume taking betterment charges and then apply for BBMP plan approval.
Beware guys.

Dear Sir,

The betterment is collected for the full extent of land as was converted in the OM of the DC order. If not, wait for Akrama-Sakrama.

Is it true that in about 2 months or not they will start collecting betterment charges?
We are planning to meet Commissioner BBMP regarding this soon as we need to get the complete picture.

Not sure if they would start collecting betterment charges in another 2 months for individual sites.

i see quite a few houses being built on B khata or conditional A kahata. Does it mean they would have not taken approval from BBMP.
what is the consequences if one constructs without approval of BBMP.

The same question i asked to BBMP engineer and he said that if we construct without approvals and later if we need to take approvals for constructing upper floors, then we need to demolish the existing house, take domolishion certificate and then approach BBMP for plan approval!
