I need help to understand commercial conversion of residential site.
I have a site in a BDA approved layout on 80 feet road. The layout has been handed over to BBMP. I would like to know if anyway, I can get commercial plan approval or convert land use to commercial? Kindly suggest.

If it is handed over to BBMP then there is nothing like conversion. Just get plan approved for whatever you want to construct and build.
Generally they dont give full commercial space plan sanction, you have to take permission stating that it is a Paying Guest or something like that.
Given that your road is 80 feet, you may full commercial also, so try for it.
The issue is that you need to pay bribes.
