You posted with a price and received no responses! What does that tell you, price quoted was not to any prospective clients' liking.
That is still no excuse to post an open bid kind of ad here. This only causes the thread to grow forever with people asking you for numbers. How does it help you find what the going price in the area is. For you to find that, best best would be to visit your neighbourhood and talk to the neighbours to determine what recent sales went for. that would give you the best idea.
You got a response with rs. 1000 as a bid, and you said it was too low. It is like "get me a stone", and when people fetch you a "rock" it is too big, and when they fetch you a "pebble", it is too small. Without knowing the exact specs, it is hard to meet the requirement.
You are right in saying, every owner is entitled to expect the best price, but that does not justify crowding this forum with unwanted posts. And for you to get your expected price - the best way is quote the price and wait for the right person to come by (which will happen if that is a reasonable number).
