Hey Ravi,
I brought a site which is under BBMP. Axis bank funded me the loan. Betterment charges not yet paid. I still stand by what i said earlier.
Lets hope govt collects betterment charges for individual sites and give pakka khata

Please read today's Deccan herald news paper.Govt has passed bill to collect fees for DC conversion and betterment charges for lands not having approvals from BDA/BMRDA, etc.
Have good chances now to get A khata !

I am not certain, but I thought that article addressed the payment of DC COnversion fees. Are they going to start collecting Betterment charges as well!
I know the news just came out, but does anyone have more info on -
1, what fees are going to be collected
2. what type of properties fall under this (only revenue land or DC converted land as well)
3. what are the fees
4. when will they start collecting.
If there is someone knowleldgeable, will help all the forum members interested in this topic.
