still ther is scope for nego they might come down to rs 1000 per cft if it is good quality wood and also ask them to bill 50 % or less for the total cft u buy

as mentioned earlier mail ,i gave directly to timeber depo where they have many carpenters which may have worked which i am not sure. You can also do the same , as i went to timber depo in K.R Puram (name jogpalaya) who gave a good deal .

I have teo carpenters. One from the timber yard for the ground floor. His name is Prakash ( 9901646762). ANother carpenter is for first and seconf floor who did at our construction sitr his name name Ganapathi ( 9902764465). Both charged in the range mentioned in this thread. They have done a good job for us. You can refer my name Rajesh (Vittal Nagar near ISRO layout)
