I got a quote from various vendors for UPVC. In terms of price, they stack up in the following manner
LG Heusys - lowest
RIhau and Veka - about 20% more
Fenesta - about 200% more (yes- two hundred)
I plan to visit the show room to check out the quality. LG person claimed that the hardware is imported from Korea.
Anything that I should watch out for?

Thanks rkrishna for sharing these details. I am also looking for rate and quality comparison for different upvc vendors but since I do not have window drawings ready I am not able to get quotes and discounts. Please share rate and your feedback on quality.

@pkumar78, rate depends on the type of windows and specs. We have a lot of windows with varying dimensions and mosytly sliding with mosquito net. We gave the same specs to all vendors and LG comes to around 635 Rs/Sq feet.
Quality; i need to check the show rooms though I am not sure what I should check for.

After installing and using UPVC windows for a few months, I think the mosquito net offered by these vendors is very soft fabric and really delicate. It can get torn very easily and then???

Especially if you have pets or cats roaming around or lots of birds , please consider this point. (Steel mesh is not available as an option)

I also went with LG. Did not go for SS mesh as per architect's advice as lighting will be less with SS mesh.
LG's price was way better than Rihau and almost half of Fenesta. I visited the LG assembly unit in Bommasandra and found the quality to be satisfactory.

Note that UPVC is only the section in the window and rest is mostly toughened glass and hardware. Hardware quality is to be checked out for all local brands/

have not done installation yet, so yet to see that side of the service from LG
