For me house construction is becoming a discovery process every couple of days! I didn't even know that there was a 2.5sqmm and 4sqmm cable. I got the quote from the vendor few months back and just went with it assuming he would know better. Seems to be working fine for the past 2 weeks.

May be because the depth of my borewell is 285ft, 2.5sqmm cable is good enough.

friends.....2HP & above, 4Sqmm is mandatory.

I can vouch for Vguard submersible....i have been using them for 2 of my bores......the advantage with v-guard is that they have better after sales service in bangalore & also the starter panel is v-guard make, which otherwise is a non-oem make for the remaining pump. manufacturers

as far as cable goes, finolex is still the leader!!
