I love thotti mane - but for some reason I thought you need a wide plot to be able to build in that style. the above sample looks beautiful. I wish I had known about this before I did my house.

I have read about this Rapid wall construction in a Kannada weekly " SUDHA "... after a week the same magazine has also published a concern of a person who had constructed his house with RAapid wall technologhy and after 2 months the building has developed cracks and they are waiting for the engineer's response to get it corrected, But all his efforts are in vain as he is not reachable or not responding properly, In my opinion i feel this technology need to be widely accepted in the society otherwise maintanance of this kind of buildings by an unskilled labour is a BIG ISSUE. We might end up in waiting at the mercy of the engineer who has built the structure for you.!!!!! So its up to individuals who can bear the burnt of time incase something goes wrong!!!!

Am not going for this technology, as the maintanance part is a hurdle, only skilled labours can do it...
