Update:
Folks, I have an update to share - this is in regards to my earlier post about property tax online payment & site access.
This is now resolved. Part-I sites have absolute numbers i.e. what ever the site number is. For part-II the BDA requires us to enter a '.'
right after the site number. This is also visiable in my earlier tax paid receipts.
Until recently (may be till Apr'13) the BDA property payment website wasn't taking the '.' character and now it does.
Example: if my site number is 12345, I have to enter as "12345." to access my site details and pay prop. tax.

LNG wrote:Owners@Kanakashree HBCS,

You may already know (from my previous posts) that I too own a site in Part-II of Kannur layout. I wanted to pay property tax online and when i entered my site number, the data the page showed was of another person and the property ID too was different than the one i have in my Tax paid receipt from last year.

http://ops.bdabangalore.org/BDAOPS_Shop ... earch.aspx

I assumed it could be because part-I has 159 sites and part-II 177 sites in total respectively and i tried to search for my site number + 159 (from part-I) and that too didnt give my data.

Anyone else facing this problem? Anyone else owning site in Part-II?

Cheers,
Gopinath

Hi,
I took a legal opinion for one of the sites in Kanakashree layout, kannur. It seems to be a grant land and the grant certificate is not available. Advocate suggested not to proceed. Sincerely request the opinion of the experts in this forum.

Thank you
Lokesh

it costed 8k for us that included brokers multiple travel expenses . initially he and the office ppl in kr puram just could not find it and said its not there. they searched for it multiple times and this went on for a month.. then our lawyer helped us by coming there and and again went through all the files and found it.
