Wondering the scarcity of Water, You are at the Initial stage of the Construction.
If you are facing the issue of water how will you manage the whole Construction.

Is your site is not with Borewell, what are the alternatives you are considering.

My site is in a gate community they don't allow individual bore well to be digged. The association supplies water from 8Am to 12 PM daily.

The problem is that when filling the soil back to the footing area it needs a lot of water. First you fill the soil then pour water and mason used logs to press the soil in. Then again fill soil then pour water. Then allow it to settle. If this is not done while the foundation is being constructed the soil may shrink in.

The water that’s provided by association doesn’t suffice and also i am not comfortable using that.. hence I had asked the tanker guys to get water which is no portable.

However for regular construction activities the water will suffice as now i have the sump ready.

how has been your experience with contractor so far. Is he prompt ?
What is the name of the layout and ongoing price?

The contractor has been pretty good so far, He is ready to take feedback and make changes are requested. He ensures that he calls me when material arrives so i can have a quick look and kind of certifiy before they are used. No issues with labour he has enough of them who are pressed into work as required.

However these are very early days in construction i guess most of the contractors will be good early on, With time passing and more pressure we need to see whether they are able to sustain it.

My plot is in a place called Ananthnagar Phase 3 (Vasundhara Layout) its close to Huskur Gate. It comes under Anekal Panchayat and is BMRDA approved. I bought it early this year, Prices was 2850/Sq Ft after hard negotiation. I guess currently there won't be much changes in the price.

Started the foundation work yesterday.. Natural curing is happening with the light drizzle in Bangalore

The Plinth beam is to be layed on Fri/Sat, Hope it dosen't rain very heavily at that time...

No issues with the spying .. I did checkout a few under contruction properties before i started my own construction. But definitely not through Wikimapia
