Hello All,

Please review the below quote and help me decide.

SS Material:
1. SS 304 16 guage, brushed metal finish - 2" hand-rail and 20mmx40mm verticals
2. verticals placed 3ft apart and side-mounted to the staircase

Glass panels:
3. plain or design 10 mm toughened glass

SS alone costs Rs. 900 per rft (running feet)

Plain toughened glass - about Rs. 250 per sft (square feet) and design toughened glass Rs. 350 per sft.

If I go with design toughened glass - total cost is about 1800 per rft.

Please help if the quotation is reasonable.

I inquired from another vendor who deals with "Kich" brand and the MRP quoted was Rs. 2700 per rft. (not yet negotiated)

If the vendor is using genuine 304 ss then 900/- per rft is very reasonable, The fancy stuff like balls, end caps, cover caps are never 304 ss ,you should ask the shop guys
who ever sell this stuff they give you actual facts.
For glass type railing its better go with some brand ,now a days every fabricator suggesting the ready made stuff since the finishing is good and neat but look at the different samples .Easiest way is to check the weight of the individual balusters (vertical supports).More weight more strong .
Kich is a very know brand in SS industry ,you can try Enox / inox brands

Where we can get these Kich/Enox/Inox brand..i have not seen any store selling this, can you pls give more info, where we can get this, actually i am also looking at SS railing with Ss/wooden combination Balusters...can you pls guide

I found them at South India Agencies, opposite Jyothi Nivas college entrance, Koramangala.

You can ask most SS fabricators for these brands or south India agencies in Kr market .

Thanks for the same, will search in KR market then
most of the fabricators will suggest Pipe with a ball for Baustas, and they donot offer such balustus what you suggested
