Isthe sand prices high again..
I enquired a TN one for plastering(fine sand) near chandapura and he quoted ::27k whereas i last time paid 23 for the same 10wheeler load..

I heard the same ,as there is some issue going on from government as they are not allowing to get the sand from rivers, problem getting from the Border for past 2 weeks. They told me it will be over in another 2 week when called last week ,and they are quoting 27K now .

Roughly how many units you are getting by 10 wheeler lorry.
I paid 43k for 650Units harihara (KA) river soil.

Harihara is costly and it come to 40K to 45K. What i am talking about is TN (Tirchi sand) which is river sand?

I will require Sand sometime after 7-8 days. I usually buy Trichy sand, and I have been paying 19k for 430 cft earlier. I will post the rates once I buy it.

Today a sand supplier quoted 25K for 6-wheeler load (he says it is 450 cft)
and sand is apparently from Kollegal (kaveri river sand).

I am looking for sand for plastering, if there are any better options
please let me know.

@pradeepecr no its not from tn ...in saraki stand most of them bring sand from kaveri river bed ...kr pet,chelkere..belkodi, n kolegal r costly ...call manche gowda 9738813866

even u get for 18k instand lil mud mix ...i always take mestri to check the sand before buying it
