true the prices of white sal is 1150 to 1200 maximum even in timber yard also 925 weight less red sal n rs 1000 to rs 1050 red sal weighted wood ...my carpenter used white sal wood for his house n told me it has very good seasoning i as checked in timber yard this time u get very good red saal no craks good wood some r not seasoned wood thats wat my carpenter said ..though i tried hard to nego but he didnt come down to 1200rs as per market 2day saw wood no cracks looks very old wood plying will be done by tom.

Today I bought wood for doors n windows frame.

Red sal - Rs 1050
Honne Rs 1850
Burma Teak - Rs 2800

from Tin factory Krishna timbers yard.

Surprisingly, Honne is going up & teak is coming down, if that is an indicator of the price @ 2800 that you are mentioning is correct !!

Yes, Honne is going very high. Actually I have negotiated to reduced the price, he finally ends to reduce Burma teak from Rs 3200 to 2800 Rs, Since I purchased 2.3 Cft for main door frame only.
Sales guy doesn't reduced on Honne & Red sal .

They have added Planing charge (60Rs/CFT) & Corner feeding charge (Rs 5), Is it common in all Timber depot.

Is Tin factory Krishna timbers yard is in KR puram/Ramurthy nagar side?

Can you mention the details as i am near to that as it is convenient to get those if nearer?

Hi Sam,

Yes, its nearby KR Puram railway station side (Tin factory).
There will be 2 krishna timber depot adjacent to each other.
The one I purchased that comes first once you come from tin factory.
