My construction finished in Dec 2013.
I have 3 sumps (7500+7500+5000 ltr) . Built with 9" brick wall (there are concrete beams at mid level+concrete floor). with PVC steps fixed during sump construction. I believe water proofing liquid was added during plastering. As far as I can tell, proper construction processes were followed (cement ratio, curing etc). We drive our car on top of the sump (1ton) but the parking itself is on solid ground & not on top of sump
After moving in, I have observed that the water level drops slowly (3-6 inches per 24 hrs) in one sump and 1ft/24hr in another (third sump not tested yet). I have inspected one of the sumps with a light (mobilephone LED) but can't see any cracks or serious holes.
What might be the cause? Is it due to the steps? Is there a waterproofing solution that can be implemented now? I found this link http://www.aquatyte.com for a product from a company called Aquatyte (Bangalore based) . Does anyone know about this?
Appreciate any suggestions
